Estimator required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of sheet metal products based in the Thetford area. Due to continued success and growth of the business, they are seeking an Estimator with exposure to a manufacturing environment to join the team.
The successful candidate will be assisting in the implementation of an MRP system while collating information to produce a standardized quotation system.
Estimator - Manufacturing Position Overview
* Gathering information on production times, material costs, and resource requirements to produce a standardized pricing structure with the use of an MRP system.
* Providing quotes to customers from off-plan drawings/specifications.
* Managing customer orders and updating the system with order requirements.
* Assisting in the development of the accounts system.
Estimator - Manufacturing Position Requirements
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
* 2+ years of experience within an estimating-related role.
* Based within a commutable distance of Thetford.
* Previous experience with an MRP system.
* Good commercial acumen.
* Proficient with MS Office suite.
Estimator - Manufacturing Position Remuneration
* Salary £30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
* Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position.
* Holiday allowance and pension.
