What you will do
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager in the Genomics division. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to the development of the Genomics product portfolio. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and remotely.
Responsibilities will include
1. Proven experience in business development and sales
2. Strong knowledge of the genomics industry and market trends
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
4. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and strategic partners
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently
6. Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with virtual teams
7. Experience with laboratory automation and instrumentation is a plus
8. Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
What you bring along
We'll expect you to have a Degree (BSc MS) in Genomics and NGS or comparable scientific or technical education (preferably in Life Sciences) and at least 3 years Genomic experience and understanding of marketing to the life science sectors. You'll have excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills and a strong understanding of marketing and business development methods. Have vast experienced in presenting and negotiating. Need to be commercially astute with the ability to work to budget and have an excellent understanding of the Genomics and NGS sales /sales support and marketing process.
