Michelmores has an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor/Associate to join its Family team in either their Bristol or Cheltenham office.
The role will involve working closely alongside partners and other senior team members, representing a variety of high profile, high net worth and international clients in cutting-edge family law matters, from nuptial agreements and wealth protection, to tricky contested financial remedy proceedings, cohabitation cases, complex children law matters and domestic abuse injunctions.
The team is led by one of the leading international family law experts in the UK, Daniel Eames, ably-supported by award-winning up-and-coming partners Sarah Green and Felicity Chapman. A top-tier team that achieves creative, family-focused solutions, always acting with the utmost discretion and sensitivity.
Michelmores regularly advises international high net worth, ultra-high net worth and high-profile individuals around the world, entrepreneurs, professionals and their family members, in some of the most complex family law cases in the UK. The firm is known for specialising in tricky international cases, and cases that are particularly financially and emotionally complex.

Michelmores is looking for somebody who will understand its values and thrive in their culture. The role can be based in either the Bristol or Cheltenham offices and the ideal candidate will have:
1. 1-4 PQE in family law (experience with HNW/UNHW clients, complex financial remedy proceedings and complex children cases desired)
2. An enthusiasm to master business development and marketing in tandem with legal expertise
3. Strong interpersonal skills, building rapport with colleagues and clients at all levels
4. A pro-active, professional, and collaborative approach to work with a willingness to support partners in other teams and offices
5. Excellent organisational skills, with demonstrable examples of multi-tasking, managing competing priorities and use of initiative to work towards objectives or career goals
6. The ability to communicate well under pressure and be a positive role model
