Accounts Assistant Up to £30,000 Sheffield, South Yorkshire Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a business based in Sheffield as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Perform revenue reconciliation and manage the processing of payments from bank statements into Sage 200 Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and credit card transactions Prepare and post accruals and prepayments entries Analyse the profit and loss accounts and nominal ledgers, reconciling them while identifying any required adjustments for prepayments and accruals Record and process expenses, petty cash, and credit card transactions Handle key control account reconciliations, including those for the sales ledger and purchase ledger Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts Carry out additional tasks as needed to assist the Finance Manager and broader finance team Experience & Skills Required: Previous experience in a Finance or Accounting role Experience using Excel Ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment to ensure accurate and timely financial outcomes What's On Offer: Hybrid working 25 Days holiday bank holiday Free on-site parking Employee discounts Sick pay Learning and development opportunities
