Debt Recovery / Litigation Paralegals
Location: Coventry city centre, with hybrid working following training/probation
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday - Reduced and/or flexible hours will also be considered

We are working with a well-established, Legal 500-recognised law firm who are looking to attract a number of experienced Debt Recovery/Small Claims Litigation Case Handlers to join their busy team in Coventry city centre.
Training contracts will be considered for eligible employees, following a successful training and probation period, and assessment of competency.
The role will involve:
1. Running a caseload of debt recovery matters
2. Managing claims via a debt claims portal
3. Dealing with small claims defences
4. Preparing witness statements / bundles
5. Taking calls from clients
6. Taking instructions from clients
7. Assisting senior solicitors
8. Use of market leading, cutting-edge software/technology
Suitable Candidates will have:
1. Previous debt recovery experience
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
3. Experience of using legal case management systems
4. Degree level education (essential)
5. LPC/LLM or equivalent level education (desirable)
6. A desire to qualify as a solicitor and specialise in litigation work
This is a full-time permanent job. The role will initially be fully office-based. Hybrid working will be available in the longer term. The firm is very well set up for home-working; however, there is no guaranteed time-frame, as this will depend on each individual's progress and capability.
