As a Registered Nurse, you'll be at the heart of this mission, delivering both clinical excellence and holistic care. You'll be more than just a nurseyou'll be a leader, a mentor, and a champion for dignity and respect.
Registered Nurse Contract (RGN / RMN) Nightshift:
* £21.50 per hour
* 33 hours per week (contracted)
* Shift time: 19:45 08:00
* 5.6 weeks annual leave (full-time contract)
* Pension
* NMC Registration fee & PVG paid
* Uniform provided
* Onsite parking
* £1,500 Welcome Bonus (paid in two installments at 6-month intervals)
What You'll Do:
* Craft Personalized Care Plans: Work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
* Ensure Accuracy: Monitor daily interactions and care conditions, ensuring all documentation is precise and legally compliant.
* Lead with Confidence: Organize and guide your team at the start of each shift, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
* Facilitate Seamless Transitions: Oversee shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
* Monitor Health: Perform routine observations and manage specific health needs with attention to detail and safety.
* Administer Medications: Manage and administer medications safely, adhering to MAR sheets and protocols.
* Build Relationships: Foster strong connections with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy.
* Promote Independence: Encourage residents' autonomy in daily activities, while providing hands-on assistance when needed.
* Act on Feedback: Be responsive to team input, always prioritizing the well-being of residents.
* Champion Respect: Uphold the dignity and individuality of every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.
* Encourage Engagement: Facilitate social interactions and activities, creating a vibrant community for residents.
* Prioritize Safety: Maintain a vigilant approach to health and safety, ensuring a secure environment.
* Support Nutrition: Advocate for balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
* Respond to Emergencies: Be prepared to act swiftly in emergencies, using the on-call system and reflective practices to continually improve care.
About You:
* You're a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
* While care home experience is a plus, what truly matters is your passion for care and dedication to improving residents' lives.
* You have a natural ability to connect with peopleresidents, families, and colleagues alikebringing warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanor to every interaction.
* Communication is your superpowerwhether updating a resident, guiding a family member, or leading your care team, you do it with clarity, empathy, and respect.
