Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of complex metal components, the operations are global, and they supply products to prestigious customers worldwide.
Initially 2 shifts, transitioning to a permanent nightshift role after training.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the safe manufacturing of products in line with specifications to meet quality standards
Adhere to all safety and quality processes and procedures
Ensure high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
Input and modify programmes on computer controls
Organise die and tool storage and heat dies for production
Undertake fettling, painting of billets, and shotblasting duties
Carry out repairs to dies and tools during production
Ensure customer specifications are achieved by checking dimensions against process sheets or sketches
Perform inspections of manufactured components
Brand and record part and serial numbers
Clean work areas and maintain equipment as required
Assist with the introduction of new/modified partsIdeal Candidate:
