* Lead and supervise the Housekeeping team, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.
* Allocate cleaning tasks and ensure all areas are cleaned as required.
* Ensure staff are available for routine cleaning and unexpected situations.
* Inspect rooms and ensure they are cleaned to company standards.
* Monitor and replenish stock levels of cleaning supplies and consumables.
* Follow health and safety regulations and company-related practices.
* Protect equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
Additional Duties:
* Vacuum floors, dust, clean surfaces, and perform any cleaning required under the direction of the Nurse on duty.
* Perform high dusting and wash down paintwork, particularly in public areas (e.g., hallways, sitting rooms, staircases, lifts).
* Supervise domestic staff to keep the home clean and tidy at all times.
* Spot clean carpets daily, where necessary.
* Empty wastebaskets and clean the laundry room.
* Remove used linen to the laundry.
* Conduct thorough room cleanings on a fortnightly basis.
