At BCBC, we manage a diverse property portfolio, from schools to industrial estates and from care homes to offices. We operate a Corporate Landlord approach - bringing together management that supports our strategic property management, design and hard/soft Facilities Management teams.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Maintenance team in providing a wide-ranging service, across the Council’s property portfolio. The successful candidate will gain experience in a multi-skilled context as part of an apprenticeship framework undertaking installation and repair of existing facilities.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
A Health Surveillance assessment through our Occupational Health Service is a requirement for this post.
Level 2 Qualification Exemptions: Applicants will not be considered for those who have already achieved a qualification, at an equivalent or higher level in same subject area, including degree level. Also, applicants currently in receipt of WG funding for study purposes will not be able to be considered.
