Blaser Mills Law has a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor / legal executive to join our Dispute Resolution Department working on Property Litigation, Civil Litigation and Contentious Probate. The Team has a caseload including contested probate, trusts of land, construction and general civil litigation.
The successful candidate will have exceptional client service at the heart of their practice and have strong business development skills.
Key Experience
This opportunity is ideally suited for a solicitor of 3+ years PQE, who has solid litigation experience, has an interest in business development and is keen on continually improving ways of working and adapting positively to change.
Further Details – Experience & Skills
* 3+ years PQE
* Technically strong with good attention to detail. Proven experience in a range of commercial litigation disputes and the ability to provide commercial and strategic advice.
* Experience of managing the day-to-day conduct of cases.
* Experience across key areas of litigation including drafting of statements and witness evidence, undertaking disclosure, instructing and liaising with experts and interim applications.
* Experience in advising on, and engaging in, ADR and settlement negotiations.
* Interest in developing business development and marketing skills with a view to building a client base from referrals and recommendations.
* Ability to work closely with other Team members.
* Skilled at developing good relationships with peers, clients and referrers.
* Strong team work ethic, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Willingness to be part of innovative activities to continually improve ways of working.
