Job Description
Position Summary
This role will be responsible for setting the Product and Communications Strategy for the Electrical segment, part of the Concrete Business Unit within the UK and Nordics. Working closely with the Segment lead, the ideal candidate will support the strategic intent and execution of Sales & Marketing plans. They will ensure that our value propositions resonate with our customer base and enable business growth.
They will also lead the Customer Back innovation process to ensure a pipeline of developments for the future, supporting the long-term growth strategy of the business segment.
Additionally, they will be responsible for the Communications strategy of the segment, using appropriate channels to influence key decision-makers in the industry to understand and engage with our brand's value propositions.
The ultimate goal is to grow market share within the electrical market and maintain growth above competitors.
Primary Responsibilities
* Responsible for the Marketing Strategy of the Spit Brand within the electrical market.
* Manage products — range, pricing, forecasting, website, PIM — working with the supply chain to support the business strategy.
* Lead the Customer Back Innovation Process to develop and maintain a pipeline of new products, addressing changing workplace legislation and ensuring sustainable long-term growth.
* Line management of the communication team, ensuring strategic communication execution for the Concrete Business Unit in the UK and Nordics Markets.
* Devise and deliver the Communications Strategy, targeting key decision-makers, with full control over budget and forecasting.
* Grow the SPIT Brand and increase awareness within its markets.
* Lead the Communications team for design and digital needs, supporting the Interiors segment as needed.
* Develop opportunities with key channel partners, driving initiatives and collaboration.
* Develop key metrics to measure the success of the Marketing Strategy.
* Participate actively in the Concrete Management team, contributing across all areas of the business unit.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of implementing strategic plans to deliver impactful change.
* Experience in Sales & Marketing across multiple channels.
* Strong analytical skills to research and evaluate information for market insights and business decisions.
* Excellent communication skills with a history of influencing stakeholders to achieve results.
* Ability to work across various marketing channels to clarify value propositions to partners.
* Culturally aware and capable of navigating multiple markets.
* Line management experience is preferred but not essential.
* Commitment to Health & Safety standards.
* Willingness to take ownership of training and personal development.
