Your Role
Your role is to support all administrative activities within the Customs Department to enable the servicing of internal stakeholders and external customers. A significant aspect of this role is working to contractual terms with a range of customers.
Your Responsibilities
* Preparation and presentation of Import/Export Customs Documentation.
* Provide high quality customer service to both internal stakeholders & our Customers.
* Control and distribution of all relevant documentation.
* Resolution of Customer queries/issues via email and telephone/root cause analysis, corrective & preventative actions.
* Work within Customer SOPs.
* Mailbox Management - incoming entry requests/other incoming communications.
* Perform data validity check.
* Escalate deviations to SOP to External Customs Manager.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Experience in customs and good understanding of customs procedures.
* Experience in a customer facing role.
* Comprehensive computer skills, including Word and Excel.
* Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
* Good problem solving skills and ability to work with tight deadlines.
* High level attention to detail.
