We’re looking for a Data Governance Manager to come and help us design and implement the frameworks we need to make our information the fuel for our organisation. Your Role
As the Data Governance Manager, you will help transform the way the RNLI manages its information by:
* Inspiring people across the institution by showing them what great Data Governance and Management looks like, and the benefits it can deliver.
* Driving and supporting functional teams to implement data management within their business units, as well as leading a small but perfectly formed team of Data specialists.
* Establishing data governance measurement and monitoring, as well as increasing data maturity and capability throughout the RNLI.
* Working with stakeholders to effectively identify, triage, remediate and manage data governance and management issues and incidents, as well as guiding a network on how best to implement data measurement and monitoring within their business.
About You
You’ll be:
* Someone who is motivated by challenge and up for the opportunity of taking an amazing institution from a low level of data governance and management maturity to understanding the value that good data management unlocks.
* An experienced, delivery-oriented data governance specialist who is able to work with stakeholders to effectively identify, triage, remediate and manage data quality issues and incidents, as well as guiding a network on how best to implement measurement and monitoring within their business. You will have a great balance of strong technical skills and the ability to make the complex simple when dealing with stakeholders.
* You will be passionate about developing a high performing and cross skilled team, able to pivot their skill set to reflect the Organisations requirements.
