What we are looking for
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate practitioner to expand and develop the setting to meet the needs of the surrounding community. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the nursery implementing the highest standards of education and childcare to be compliant with Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and manage the nursery team under the guidance of the EYFS Lead teacher. You will have a strong focus on delivering and continually improving standards of care and education. You must be a motivated individual with the ability to use your own initiative, work collaboratively and have excellent leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:
* A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years
* Desirable qualifications - level 4/5/6, QTS, EYT, or EYP
* Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working within a nursery setting
* Have a working knowledge of safeguarding
* Be familiar with current Ofsted inspections and requirements
* Display a range of attributes including personal organisation, initiative, positivity, passion, enthusiasm and a caring nature
