A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturer working on a three shift pattern (6am 2pm/2pm 10pm/10pm 6am).
Candidates should be electrically biased and ideally apprentice trained with relevant qualifications, including 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations along with some knowledge of PLCs (ideally Siemens S7).
Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team that covers all aspects of plant maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer will be required to provide effective maintenance support within a high-volume manufacturing arena where continuous production is paramount.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring that all machinery is kept in a functional and safe condition.
2. Providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repairs (mechanical and electrical).
3. Performing daily and weekly maintenance planned activities.
4. Ensuring planned preventive maintenance of all machinery is carried out.
5. Contributing to the TPM process.
6. Supporting new installations required to improve performance.
