What will you be doing?
* Managing stock holding and replenishment parameters within the Logility planning software to meet availability and inventory budget KPI’s. (Logility experience not essential).
* Taking the lead in collaboration between buyers and operational teams to review supplier delivery performance, lead-time accuracy, and forecast accuracy.
* Generating investment proposals based on various indicators such as competitor stock, supplier high runner data, and web views.
* Proactively seeking ways to deliver improvements to forecast and accuracy of inventory planning within the planning software.
* Communicating asset-related insight to the broader business through reporting, analysis, and meetings.
* Work with Product and buying teams to support promotions, hit rebate thresholds, or generate return offset orders.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in the forecasting disciplines, including DRP/MRP experience and inventory planning.
* Confident in using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Good social skills, displaying skills of persuasiveness or assertiveness as well as sensitivity to the other person’s view.
* Ability to think and problem-solve within broad functional guidelines, where clearly defined policies/guidance are not always readily available.
* Effective time management/prioritisation skills.
