We are currently recruiting for a part-time Pharmacy Technician at The Harborne Hospital, part of the World’s largest private healthcare group; providing award-winning primary, acute, and complex care.
About the facility:
The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100 million, purpose-built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital opening in Birmingham in 2023. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will have the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment, and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer, and Complex Surgery including robotics with the latest Da Vinci XI. The Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.
As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service which consistently meets the needs of all service users at The Harborne Hospital and be a role model for pharmacy technicians and actively promote the role of the pharmacy technician.
What you’ll bring:
1. Experience of dispensary and medicines procurement
2. ACT or MMT Qualification
3. Registration with GPhC
4. Experience of working within a hospital setting
5. Strong relationship building skills and team management
