A new opportunity has arisen for a Service Receptionist to join our team at our site in Newton Abbot.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as first point of contact for visitors to the dealership.
2. Ensure all telephone calls are answered in a timely and professional manner.
3. Screen and transfer all calls.
4. Ensure the reception area is well presented at all times.
5. Processing start and closing order numbers with customers and fleet companies.
6. Vehicle planning and use of DAF check system and company MIS.
7. Preparation of estimates.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements
1. Previous reception experience combined with a professional telephone manner.
2. Able to always remain calm and courteous.
3. Confident and outgoing.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Good organisational skills.
6. Able to work on own initiative.
7. Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
Hours of Work
1. Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm (unpaid).
