Inventory Manager
***This is a Maternity cover role, January 2025 to January 2026***
Role Purpose:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for contributing to overall supply chain performance, ordering stock from our suppliers into our distribution network. The Inventory Manager helps deliver the best possible availability for our customers. The Inventory Manager must work collaboratively alongside our commercial, retail and distribution teams, taking responsibility for ordering a portfolio of products from a number of suppliers.
A typical day in this role includes:
Interacting with a variety of stakeholders: Suppliers, Commercial, Distribution, Retail Operations
Ordering stock to maintain availability in our distribution centre
Informing Commercial colleagues of any availability challenges
Contribute to the overall Supply Chain strategy by delivering on a set of objectives and KPIs
Be inquisitive in analysing data to identify areas of opportunity
Provide insightful stock and availability updates to help with overall decision making

What you'll need:
Ideally head office supply chain experience, however candidates with transferable skills are also suitable for the role, as well as graduates with limited work experience
Ideally you need to understand the core principles of a distribution operation and inventory management
Ideally you will have strong Microsoft Excel skills
