A large firm with offices in Newcastle city centre our looking to appoint a Personal Tax Senior to their Private Wealth service line where you be part of the tax, trusts and accounting team. With a great deal of autonomy you will assume responsibility for a portfolio of clients, preparing personal and trustees' tax returns. The role: Preparation of tax returns for review and undertaking peer reviews Working with a portfolio that includes company directors, trusts and estates and high net worth individuals with some international exposure Dealing with the day to day tax affairs for your client portfolio and those more junior in the team Ensuring engagement letters are in place for all clients Ensuring fees are agreed and billed accordingly Assisting other members of your tax team in the overall management of client affairs. Liaison with HMRC Attending client meetings where appropriate Your experience: We are hoping to find an individual who has a minimum of two years experience completing UK tax returns It would be desirable, yet not essential if the successful candidate had some experience of trusts and Inheritance tax ATT part or fully qualified would be advantageous Experienced gained from an accounting practice Confident working with tax systems as well as Microsoft excel.
