We have part-time contracts (up to 25 hours) available along with relief opportunities if you are looking for something a bit more flexible. The Role The great thing about this job is no two days are the same. You'll be part of a small, fun, friendly team who supports an amazing young lady who has a Down Syndrome and Autism. Your main aim will be to provide support with all aspects of daily living. You'll play a huge part in helping her to realise her potential, reach her goals, learn new skills and play an active role in her local community and take part in her hobbies and interests which include swimming, going to the cinema and day trips to the park, aquarium and zoo. What we'll need you to bring; Good communication skills A caring attitude A positive approach to learning An understanding of the importance of routines and following guidelines Confidence in the use of computers You don't need previous experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and SSSC yearly registration fees too Shift Patterns Working on a 2:1 support basis, shifts will cover the hours between 10am and 4pm, Monday - Friday.
