They Focus On The Following Key Areas, Supporting Each Other As The Needs Of The Business Demand The Client Advocacy team is highly collaborative. enrollment - recruitment of new clients, expansion of the role/scope of existing client reference request fulfillment - using a combination of hands on concierge support from reference professionals as well as self-service identification of potential reference clients and readily available client testimonials program adoption by internal users globally in sales and marketing reporting/analytics database administration and interaction with reference management application vendor The Client Advocacy’s team is part of Cognizant’s Global Client Experience team and works closely with the client briefings, client insights, and case studies teams. P r i m ary Responsibilities: The Reference Lead will secure the best possible client advocates for sales and marketing pursuits, often in extremely compressed timeframes. The rest of the reference fulfillment team is located in India so this role will provide support for existing and urgent requests when the other team members are unavailable. In addition, this person must be able to think and act strategically while having the necessary presentation skills and emotional intelligence to interact with senior resources at our clients and internally. Qualifications/Experience/Education 4 years of experience as a reference professional or advocacy lead (relevant marketing or sales experience will satisfy this qualification) Proven success in achieving positive change with sales community, especially in area of program adoption Client-centric (external and internal) and service oriented positive attitude Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications Proficient business skills and experience working with senior level management including Director, GM, and CxO level audiences Consistent, congenial, professional and success-based attitude Applied sense of urgency and ability to achieve results Ability to multi-task while maintaining a keen attention to detail, deadlines, and last minute changes Team player that is reliable, flexible, helpful and works well in a collaborative environment Demonstrated ability to adjust strategies and approaches to meet the needs of our clients Preference: certification from the Institute of Customer Advocacy Professionals (not a requirement) Preference: experience with reference management applications – i.e. Upland RO or others (not a requirement) Cognizant Technology Solutions is an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcomes applications from all sections of society and does not discriminate on grounds of race, religion, or belief or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
