Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
