Supply Heroes are looking for a inspiring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant who has a love of making a difference to the lives of children with additional SEN needs. This is a potential temp to perm opportunity for the right person. This is a supportive, and highly respected mainstream primary school in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham with excellent transport links to and from Sutton Coldfield town centre. The school have supportive staff that are dedicated to helping all students succeed and have a strong focus on student and staff well-being and mental health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual 1:1 support to a pupil with Autism as well as giving additional classroom support where needed. Therefore, somebody who has a passion of working in SEN, good adaptability and strong relationship building will thrive in this role. It starts on Monday 28th April 2025 for the duration of the Summer Term and possibly longer. The ideal candidate will have: A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree in Education Experience of working with pupils with SEN A depth of knowledge of the primary school curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive and patient approach Why Supply Heroes?
