We’re on the lookout for an Enterprise Planning & Assurance Manager to join our PMO team in the Business Change Function which forms part of the organisations CTO Function. In this role, you will support the organisation to deliver its strategic ambitions. You will maintain the overarching Group Change scope, planning the sequence of strategic initiatives and reporting whilst working with C-Level colleagues, often managing sensitive and confidential information. You will work within the PMO team to ensure the appropriate governance, insights, delivery, and outcome reporting are timely and accurate in line with the change framework to drive decision making across the Portfolio. You will manage conflicting priorities and ensure agreed deliverables/SLAs are achieved. You will contribute to continuous improvement of the change framework model and ensuring its being embedded across the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring that the CTO and Head of Change have management information for the Change agenda to hand – this will not only involve collating, but also challenging the quality and robustness of the information provided. You will be required to present this information confidently to C-Level level audiences. This is an exciting and varied role with big scope to deliver key value to the organisation and our customers. As a new role, you will be confident in operating without a clearly defined framework or engagement model and look forward to being able to shape these yourself as one of your first tasks. Here are some of the activities you’ll get involved with: You’ll spend your time: Owning, and maintaining the overarching Group Change Oversight scope, planning and reporting Engaging with all business areas to drive the overarching view of Change across the organisation, particularly with a view to helping ExCo make priority decisions where dependencies conflict Developing and maintaining the CTO functional annual plan, working with the span of the CTO domain to ensure all areas are represented and track delivery against that plan for reporting Provide appropriate MI to support informed decision-making including mapping and tracking of dependencies across multiple portfolios and areas of change delivery Embedding and being an ambassador of the Change Framework governance model. Ensuring that robust consistent project management principles are adopted across the organisation. Driving continuous improvement of the Change Framework Governance Model and Project Manager Toolkit Supporting the improvement of functional capabilities to facilitate better oversight and delivery of change Providing centre of excellence level support to projects and programmes in planning and assurance Supporting and improving ways of working with the PMO team Conducting in-flight project and programme audits and reviews providing challenge where necessary Leading on internal/external audits covering the Change department Attending and facilitating portfolio and programme level meetings and workshops as required A bit about you Your friends might describe you as the ‘organised’ one. But it would great if you had some of the following: A strong team player who is approachable, helpful and willing to go the extra mile Confidence to use your own initiative and problem-solving skills Experience in oversight of a change portfolio or a group level EPMO role Experience of developing, implementing, and improving reporting standards Experience in creating reports for ExCo and Board level audiences - able to take complex information, distil key messages and present in a consumable format Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with and hold colleagues to account Meticulous and precise, written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills and proven ability to provide high quality management information Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint Knowledge of governance, controls, and reporting mechanisms to an auditable standard Experience in mapping and reporting dependencies across a wide a varied Change agenda Excellent influencing & negotiation skills Extensive project planning experience Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset Excellent experience of Change Delivery within the Financial Services industry Experience and understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies Understanding of Information Technology systems within a Financial Services platform environment Prince 2 or another recognised professional Change Delivery qualification would be an advantage A positive and professional attitude Be a pro-active support to the Head of Change, PMO Manager and other stakeholders with the ability to obtain buy-in and build consensus.
