We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a well-established business in Castle Donnington. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and is responsible for supporting the Finance team with collating and processing information and accounting documents.
Key responsibilities:
1. Processing purchase invoices
2. PO Processing
3. Processing of bank transactions on the banking system and in the Finance System
4. Processing financial transactions (invoices and journals) in the Finance system
5. Ensuring all invoices are allocated correctly and have the appropriate authorisation
6. Weekly Supplier Payment Run
7. Processing Sales Invoices
8. Credit Control
9. Confidently dealing with Customer & Supplier Queries
10. Assisting with Month End Tasks
Essential experience:
1. Experience of working within an administration environment
2. Able to use Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook
3. Acute attention to detail
4. A confident and assertive telephone manner
5. Experience with Sage is advantageous
