Description
Barker Ross are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Precast Concrete Caster to join our clients team. As a Precast Concrete Caster, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by creating high-quality precast concrete products. Your attention to detail and expertise in concrete casting will ensure that our clients products meet the highest standards of quality and durability.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining concrete casting equipment, preparing molds, pouring concrete, and overseeing the curing process. You will also be responsible for checking all products meet strict quality control guidelines.
Responsibilities
1. Operate and maintain concrete casting equipment.
2. Prepare molds for the pouring process.
3. Pour and finish concrete according to specifications.
4. Monitor the curing process and ensure that products are properly cured.
5. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
6. Maintain a clean and organised work area.
7. Reading mechanical drawings.
Requirements
1. Strong knowledge of the Precast industry.
2. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
3. Familiarity with operating and maintaining concrete casting equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy.
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
