The Role:
We are looking for a Cyber Operations Manager to maintain the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of data at Oodle Financial Services Limited (t/a Oodle Car Finance).
This role involves managing day-to-day 1st line cyber security operations and leading remediation activities following vulnerabilities and security incidents.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Policies, Reporting, and Oversight
* Support the Head of Information Security in developing and maintaining an information security strategy and policies.
* Provide ongoing oversight and management of information security activities.
* Contribute to executive-level reporting with data and insights.
Risk Management, Incident Management, and Regulatory Engagement
* Develop and implement a risk management framework.
* Lead responses to security incidents in compliance with FCA requirements.
* Conduct investigations and implement remediation measures.
Management of 1st Line Cyber Security Function
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the 1st line cyber security function.
* Ensure implementation and maintenance of security controls.
* Collaborate with third-party service providers to manage security technologies.
* Supervise penetration testing and vulnerability scanning activities.
* Provide technical security guidance to project teams.
* Maintain oversight of identity and access management controls.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 4 years proven experience in a 1st line cyber security operations role.
* Evidence of implementing 1st line cyber security technologies in a regulated environment.
* Experience with incident response methodologies and tools.
* Knowledge of threat intelligence analysis and threat hunting techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
* Commitment to fostering a strong cyber security risk culture.
* Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
* Certified Information Security qualification (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM).
* Experience in handling cyber crises that materialized into data breaches.
* Experience with cloud security (primarily Azure and AWS).
* Experience with data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
