A highly reputable, independent SEN secondary school located in the Towcester and Silverstone area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their permanent staff from January 2025 (or sooner if available).

Salary: £24,420 - £29,190 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring all facilities are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
* Conducting regular checks of the school premises, addressing any maintenance or health and safety issues.
* Managing a small team of site staff, including cleaners and contractors, to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, carpentry, and decorating.
* Ensuring that the school complies with all health, safety, and security regulations, including fire safety and risk assessments.
* Liaising with external contractors for larger repairs and maintenance projects.
* Managing site budgets and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
* Supporting school events and activities by setting up rooms and equipment as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar Site Manager or Facilities Manager role, ideally in an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
* Practical skills in basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general repairs.
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo DBS checks).
* Full UK driving licence is desirable.
