Role: Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 per annum + benefits
Hours: 4 on 4 off, 7 till 7 - rotation of days & night shifts
Location: Commutable from Howden, Hull, Selby, Goole, Doncaster, Brough, York, Market Weighton and surrounding areas

It would suit a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a background in an industrial or manufacturing environment with some mechanical experience of bearings, shafts, belts, chains, motors, gears, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (MIG) - please apply.
Responsibilities
1. Support various equipment and machinery across the factory, dealing with and overcoming problems in a fast-paced environment.
2. Work through a planned preventative maintenance program as well as project and continuous improvement work.
3. Participate in future planned projects involving upgrades and refurbishments.
4. Conduct reactive maintenance, swiftly attending to and resolving breakdowns to get production lines back up and running.
5. Deal with belts, bearings, motors, gears, pumps, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
6. Utilize any workshop skills, ideally MIG welding.
Requirements
1. Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
2. Experience with mechanical maintenance or mechanical fitting work, within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
3. Machinery maintenance experience.
4. Any experience of belts, chains, bearings, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics would be desirable.
5. Any MIG welding experience would be desirable.
6. Heavy plant/machinery experience would be great but not essential.
7. Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in.
8. Friendly and adaptable working attitude.
