Employee Relations Manager Temporary Location: Croydon Salary: £23.00 - £25.00 per hour Contract: 2-3 months 37.5 hour week An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead a specialist advisory service, ensuring high-quality support across a range of employee relations matters. The role involves handling complex cases, developing policies, and providing expert guidance to managers and staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices. Lead on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, and capability matters. Support the improvement of case investigation quality and timelines. Develop and deliver training sessions to upskill managers on HR policies and procedures. Manage the ER team, ensuring effective workload distribution and professional development. Contribute to policy development and oversee the creation of guidance materials. Work closely with trade union representatives and key stakeholders to foster positive working relationships. Analyse ER data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making. Support the Head of ER in delivering key projects and initiatives to improve employee relations across the organisation. What We Are Looking For: Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Experience managing complex ER cases and advising senior stakeholders. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to develop policies, training programs, and ER strategies. Strong communication and analytical skills.
