Electro Plater Needed

Working Days with a lunchtime finish on Fridays, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Electro Plater to join a friendly, supportive team. You will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for the operation of the Tin Plating Line process, ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety and maintaining strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities of Electro Plater:
1. Operate the Tin Plating Line process
2. Ensure Health and Safety compliance
3. Produce the highest quality product
4. Analyze production data and engineering runs
5. Optimize the plating process
6. Conduct quality checks using X-ray machines and Pero washing
7. Operate and program furnaces
8. Load and unload furnaces
9. Reduce costs and scrap
Requirements for Electro Plater:
1. Experience in electroplating within a production environment
2. Previous experience setting up and sustaining electrochemistry equipment
3. Knowledge of metrology methods
4. Hands-on knowledge of chemical development and electrochemical processes
5. FLT licence - Counterbalance beneficial
6. Experience with measuring equipment and chemicals
7. IT literate
8. Strong communication skills and a positive “can-do” attitude
