Due to new project awards, we have several available positions for SITE MANAGERS in BELFAST, NEWCASTLE CO DOWN, and MID ULSTER. Bell Contracts & Co Ltd is a professional construction company operating throughout the UK and Ireland, providing construction, property redevelopment, and refurbishment services across various sectors.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
1. Ability to deliver projects on time and to perfection.
2. Report directly to senior management team including contracts manager and project director.
3. Provide accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports, and general information.
4. Manage and motivate site teams.
5. Conduct risk assessments.
6. Follow construction drawings and works information to fine detail.
7. Survey sites to mitigate problems and check viability of design.
8. Organise and coordinate labour.
9. Instrumental role in the negotiation of contracts in conjunction with direct and subcontract staff.
10. Liaise with engineers and have an understanding of site level.
Site Manager Requirements:
1. Ability to work under one's own initiative.
2. Self-motivated hard worker.
3. Strong team building skills.
4. Track record of completing projects from start to finish.
5. Analytical and decision-making skills.
6. Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry is important.
7. Compliant and relevant 3rd party H&S site management training.
The candidate must be a forward thinker, with the ability to deliver projects on time, with professionalism; taking direction from Senior Team members.
