Passionate about designing cost-effective, high-volume PCBs, curious about and determined to justify alternative electronic components for demanding environments, resolve production and procurement issues, and manage part and product changes to ensure compliance. Your main responsibilities will be: Design Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts to meet product and stakeholder requirements. Document designs and justify alternative components for internal use and approvals submissions. Assist Production/Test teams in resolving issues with new and existing product designs. Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage component obsolescence and ensure supply chain robustness. Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., WCA, part-stress, DFMEAs, MTBFs, Monte-Carlo Analysis) to verify and validate requirements, constraints, and assumptions. What you will need to succeed: Collaborate with design engineers to develop PCB specifications, and design schematic symbols and footprints, embracing adaptability, resilience, and challenges. Plan and execute work following the company priorities list and communicating when conflicts arise. Work effectively with other teams to embrace challenges and find novel and effective solutions to problems. Perform design rule checks to ensure adherence to design constraints and ensure all designs meet industry standards and quality requirements.
