The role: Deliver on a marketing strategy for the Group as well as for individual businesses within the Group to ensure alignment where required as well as individualised support where a more nuanced approach is required. Collaborate with our senior team across the business to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new services and products. Oversee and develop the marketing, design and communication teams by Acting as a brand guardian, ensuring appropriate tone of voice and brand guidelines are followed consistently across the group, ensuring both internal and external communications are proactive and reactive as appropriate and are always of high quality, ensuring that quality standards and effective controls are established and sustained, providing coaching and mentoring aligned to our culture and through your own passionate delivery. Identify short and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and planning for expenditure and return on investment. Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team. Review and develop the content and social media strategy and activity to ensure we are maximising all opportunities across the group. Act as an Ambassador for the Group’s ESG strategy demonstrated through a commitment to adopt, promote and comply with ESG policies, developments, and initiatives. Job requirements/knowledge and experience: Lead the development of the Group marketing strategy by collaborating closely with clients, managers, creatives, content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and services. Advising on and supporting a long-term plan for the development of the Edwin Group brand. Working closely with the creative, marketing and sales teams to create advertising campaigns and promotions. Developing and understanding the budgets for market research to inform the organisation’s marketing strategies. Leading and coordinating marketing projects from beginning to end. Lead the Group in the identification of, and attendance at, events, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging high-quality displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis to assess return on investment. Managing relationships with the various corporate partners of The Edwin Group to ensure they are effective and sustained. Implementing and overseeing our brand marketing campaigns. Coordinating all media contacts and ensuring that the company consistently gets print and digital coverage, working with external agencies when required. Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations. Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive client interest and sales. Conduct meetings regularly with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standard. Skills and qualifications: Essential: Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing. Proven ability to plan and manage budgets. Desirable: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software Established roster of media and PR contacts Desire to grow professionally through ongoing education and mentoring.
