The idea candidate will have experience in teaching the Python Programming. Role Overview: As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will inspire students to develop their digital literacy and problem-solving skills, preparing them for the digital world. The role also offers the potential to contribute to Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in ICT/Computer Science in line with the national curriculum. Teach and assess students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential). Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback and assessments. Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners. Work collaboratively with the ICT department and wider school staff to ensure high standards. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with the school's behaviour policy. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with ICT advancements and teaching methodologies. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related subject. Proven experience teaching ICT/Computer Science at Key Stage 3 and 4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students. A passion for technology and teaching. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
