Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. The Regional Head of Wealth & Premier role is a key leadership role within UK Wealth Distribution and forms part of Wealth & Personal Banking (WPB). In this role you will have the platform to provide pragmatic and inspirational leadership to coach, motivate and guide your team of Area Wealth Managers in leading field-based teams of Regulated Wealth Managers & Non-Regulated Relationship Managers who manage portfolios of customers with a Banking relationship, together with a team of Area Wealth Analysts.
This role will require extensive business travel across your allocated region, and in some cases countrywide so the ability and flexibility to travel in line with business requirements is essential.

In this role you will:
* Be accountable for the team’s compliance, sales quality, and Professional Standards, acting as the first line of defence to deliver principled business standards in line with all regulatory requirements.
* Influence Partners to maximise Wealth opportunities, with customers being serviced by appropriate advisers in line with the Bank’s strategy.
* Manage performance, give timely, specific corrective feedback to improve poor performance and motivational feedback to recognise good performance; assessing the strengths and development needs of others and plan development activities and gain dedication to change.
* Deliver needs-based solutions seeing opportunities and being able to support the time in delivery holistic financial planning for the needs of the clients.
* Manage collaborators – develop and maintain effective relationships with both team members and partners outside of team.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Hold full RDR QCF Level 4 qualification is desirable, but with the expectation of becoming qualified within 12 months
* Proven experience in leading, coaching, and inspiring large-scale teams within a Wealth Management environment - essential
* A demonstrable awareness of the wider Wealth Management landscape, including competitors and up to date knowledge of regulatory standards - essential
* Expert knowledge of financial planning and holistic wealth products - essential
* A hunger for exceptional customer delivery and a desire to identify and act on opportunities for improvements
* The ability to travel across the region, and on occasion nationally - essential
The base location of the role is advertised as Guildford, however the role has the ability to be based at any location in the South-East region.
