Due to our expansion, we are currently seeking a passionate and experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team.
As an HR Advisor at Toad Hall, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive HR support to the Head of HR and the wider business. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for both management and employees, offering timely and effective HR advice on a range of issues. Recruitment & Onboarding: Prepare recruitment documentation, manage DBS renewals, and handle the administration of flexible working requests and leaves of absence.
Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: Provide support for employee relations casework, act as a note-taker during meetings, and ensure compliance with employment law by staying updated on legal changes and conducting annual audits of personnel files.
Payroll & Compensation: Input monthly payroll changes, support payroll processing, manage compliance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage regulations, and assist with annual leave buyback and bonus processes.
Training & Development: Oversee the Government Apprenticeship Service, deliver HR training sessions, and manage training feedback and recognition programs.
CIPD Level 5 qualification with up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Proven experience in payroll, HR administration, and employee relations
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Access to own transport for travel to nursery settings
Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
Competitive salary of £30,000
