While it’s important to make sure you are dressed professionally and sitting in a quiet environment, your body language tells the interviewer a lot about you. Pay attention to how you are sitting. Are you slumped in your chair or sitting up straight? Are your arms crossed in front of you? Do you feel stiff or relaxed? Your resume says a lot about your skills, but your body language says a lot about your confidence!
2. Do Your Homework: Do research on the company you are interviewing with and come up with questions relevant to what you learned!
3. Check Your Inbox: If you are job searching, make sure you are keeping an eye on your inbox and your junk mail folder. Many companies send messages via email that may end up stuck in a spam folder. Make sure you are checking it frequently, so you don’t miss an important correspondence.
4. Provide Links to Your Work: By integrating a link to your portfolio within your resume, you offer hiring managers a direct glimpse into your capabilities, projects, and achievements.
