We are looking for a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about financial reporting, process improvements, and working in a dynamic business environment.

JOB TITLE: Group Management Accountant
SHIFTS: Mon-Fri 39 hours/week
SALARY: Up to £45,000 (DOE)
BASE: Hesketh Bank, Preston (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
* Produce monthly management accounts, with comprehensive commentary, for review by the Financial Controller and Finance Director.
* Consolidate Group results, including financials from overseas businesses.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure robust financial planning.
* Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and support the external audit process.
* Manage VAT, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain strong financial controls.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
* Contribute to ad hoc project work as required.
You
Essential Skills
* Qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience).
* Previous experience in a similar Management Accountant role.
* Strong communicator, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong systems and Excel knowledge; experience with Netsuite is an advantage.
