Are you passionate about teaching British Sign Language (BSL) and supporting students with hearing impairments and additional learning challenges?
This fantastic Secondary School is seeking a BSL Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join their team. In this role, you'll be teaching students with hearing impairments and other moderate learning disabilities, including autism. You’ll work with small groups of students and provide one-on-one support to those who need additional assistance. The role requires communication mainly through BSL, so we are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring educator to support our students' learning.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the school on a day-to-day basis with the potential for a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach British Sign Language (BSL) to students with hearing impairments and other additional learning needs.
* Communicate effectively in BSL to support students’ learning and development.
* Deliver lessons to small groups and provide individual support where necessary.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.

* A qualified BSL Teacher with QTS .
