Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £45,000
HSE Recruitment Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a dynamic and supportive team in a growing company. In this role, you will provide expert health and safety guidance, with a particular focus on CDM, to multiple project teams. You will oversee contractors and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and compliance while delivering hands-on support across the business. A key aspect of the position includes conducting site audits, inspections, and managing all related documentation. The role offers a balanced mix of compliance work and field-based activities, making excellent interpersonal skills essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Offer practical health and safety advice across various projects
* Provide CDM guidance and coaching to project teams
* Communicate effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and external businesses
* Conduct audits, site inspections, and complete necessary documentation
* Balance compliance tasks with hands-on, on-site health and safety management
* Ensure safety procedures are consistently followed, maintaining a positive safety culture
Essential Requirements:
* NEBOSH Certificate in Construction
* Strong administrative and IT skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations
* Proven experience in conducting audits, site surveys, and inspections
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
