About the role:
The continued growth and success of JCB machine sales has resulted in an unprecedented opportunity for machine servicing using our JCB Genuine Lubricant & Service Fluid products. To drive our continued and future success in this competitive landscape, we are recruiting an experienced Product Specialist to support our team to deliver against our strategic growth plans.
The Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting our product management and deployment activities, working closely with our Regional Sales & Marketing Teams, and as part of cross-functional teams to help manage the full lifecycle of our products.
What does this role involve day to day?
1. Working closely with our Product Growth Head to support strategic & tactical growth initiatives.
2. Supporting Product Management and deployment activities to support our business growth agenda.
3. Delivering detailed and accurate business and market analysis reporting to track growth and opportunities.
4. Supporting strategic & tactical opportunities with market and product research.
5. Working with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Commercial, Operations & Logistics colleagues.
6. Emphasis on tactical business & deployment support.
7. Although predominantly office based, this role may require occasional business travel.
This role will be suited to you if you have:
* A degree in a STEM subject area.
* Experience in a product management / commercial type role.
* Lubricant / chemicals / engineering experience.
* A good working knowledge of lubricant applications.
* A working understanding of machine/vehicle dealer servicing.
