General Manager – Albert’s Restaurant & Bar, Worsley
Starting salary: £45,000 + fantastic bonus scheme + tronc
We’re looking for a confident, experienced General Manager to lead the team at Albert’s Worsley – one of Greater Manchester’s most iconic restaurants.
Elle R leisure is a true independent multi concept operator. We have been trailblazers for the last 20 years and are still progressing and expanding in the North west hospitality industry. Our venues include the Alberts Restaurants, Dukes 92, Woodlands Hotel, Soughton Hall, Hello Hotel and soon to be opened Longridge house.
Albert’s first opened in Castlefield in 2004, built on a simple idea: serve great food in stylish spaces at fair prices. That vision still drives everything we do – from our bold menus to our warm, welcoming hospitality and modern restaurants
Albert’s Worsley is a vibrant, fast-paced venue with a 160-cover restaurant, buzzing cocktail bar, private dining space, a large function room for up to 200 guests – and one of the best outdoor terraces in the city.

The Role:
As General Manager, you’ll be fully responsible for the site – leading day-to-day operations, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and driving the business forward.
You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure that food standards, compliance and due diligence are met at every service. This is a hands-on role that needs a leader who’s passionate about both front-of-house energy and back-of-house excellence.

What we're looking for:
* A proven leader with experience in high-volume, fast-paced, a la carte restaurants (ideally £60k+ weekly sales)
* Strong understanding of both FOH and kitchen operations – including food safety, due diligence, and kitchen compliance
* Commercial awareness – confident managing P&L, cost control, rotas and forecasting
* Hands-on, professional, and approachable – a team player who leads by example

You’ll be responsible for:
* Overseeing all aspects of the venue – service, operations, staffing, events, and guest experience
* Managing and developing a large of team of managers and front-of-house team members, delivering high standards while keeping the atmosphere positive, energetic and guest-focused
* Working in partnership with the Head Chef to ensure food quality, safety standards and full operational compliance
* Managing site financials and driving performance against key KPIs
* Maintaining a strong, high-performance culture across the business
