Closing Date 18/11/2024 Reservoir Project Manager Employment Type: Permanent Hours: 37 Hours per Salary: Up to £50,00 per annum depending on skills and experience Location: Regional based, Kent, Sussex or Hampshire (Office and 2/3 onsite visits) It's an exciting time to join us As the Reservoir Project Manager, you will coordinate and action the reservoir maintenance programme of works, liaison with Operations and Contractors to ensure the programme conforms to the governance process and is delivered on time and to appropriate standards. There will be projects and maintenance programmes that you will be responsible as part of achieving our commitment and compliance in maintaining the reservoirs. Reporting to Reservoir Operational Manager, you will be working with a team of Assistant Project Managers responsible for enacting the clean and inspection program of all water storage assets across SW regions. You will have good experience in managing Health &Safety, confined space entry, raising and enacting contracts, managing contractor work to ensure completion to deadline, production of evidence and documents to regulators when required with strong leadership skills in driving performance. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including customers, operations, contractor and network modellers with your great communication skills, you will be accountable in the management of producing NEC4 contracts for contractors to complete enabling and remedial works as required to isolate and responsible for ensuring the highest standards for health and safety are adhered to onsite and completion of reservoir inspections across all regions on programme including monitoring in house teams and contractor working practices. The role offers autonomy for the right project manager to manage and coordinate the reservoir works effectively which is exciting with the level of responsibilities that the role involves. To be successful in this role, you will be a leader with great exposure to project management background preferably within the water industry. However, your ability to solve problems in a challenging situation and proactive approaches to demanding situations will be key to achieve the required objective in this highly varied role. With a can-do positive attitude, you will be role modelling your team in the delivery the project within the required timescales.
