Police Officer PCEP

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28,551 (plus £1,500 South Eastern Allowance). On the current system, officers can expect to be earning a salary of more than £46,044 per annum by your seventh year in the job.
We’re excited to be working with Bedfordshire Police who are now inviting applications to become a Police Officer via the Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP).
The PCEP is a brand-new programme of initial learning, which takes two years to complete. You will undertake a period of initial learning at our training school, before moving to your designated policing area for tutoring and further operational coaching. Once you have successfully passed PCEP you will be able to consider further opportunities of progression and specialism within the Force.

What do you need?
· Indefinite leave and/or right to work in the UK, and have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years (unless you’ve been serving abroad with the British Armed Forces)
· A full manual driving licence, or a willingness to sit your driving test by the time your training is complete
