Role Overview:
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing personalised care and support to the individuals in your care, helping them with their daily routines, and encouraging their independence. This role involves working closely with individuals who have varying needs, including those with complex care requirements. You will be an essential part of a compassionate team committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the individuals you are supporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality care and support tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
2. Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and medication administration.
3. Support residents in accessing community services and engaging in social activities.
4. Promote independence, choice, and dignity for all residents.
5. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' needs.
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
7. Participate in sleep-in shifts as required.
Requirements:
8. Full UK driver's license is essential.
9. Must be fully flexible to work a full range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
10. Social care experience.
11. A caring, compassionate nature and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on others' lives.
12. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
