We are looking for a Streetworks Advisor to join our team!
As a Streetwork Advisor you will provide advise and administrative support regarding Streetworks to the operational teams working to maintain the distribution network within the public highway.
You will be speaking to colleagues, contractors, management and council representatives; therefore we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills. Someone that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do.
Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the business to fulfil its Statutory Duties to communicate details of works to the Local Highway Authorities, so that they can be coordinated.
- Ensuring that works are compliant with policy and legislation, as these can be subject to fines or prosecution.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships between operational teams, colleagues, contract partners and the Local Highway Authorities
- Providing support and advice on Streetworks related matters to our colleagues and contract partners
- Having a can-do attitude and seeking for continual improvement as well as proactively resolving issues
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a working knowledge of NRSWA 1991 and TMA 2004, but full training will be provided.
- Previous experience in the Utilities Sector or Administration would be considered an advantage.
- Work is captured and processed via a range of IT, such as MS Office, INSIGHT, SIMS and GIS systems, so you will need to be proficient in this area, as well as using telephony systems.
- Much of the work is time sensitive in delivery, so you need to be able to prioritise work whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
