This role is available immediately and will continue until the end of the summer term, with the potential for extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students. This position requires full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and acting as a form tutor.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
Assess, mark, and provide feedback to support student progress.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and confidence.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum.
Take on the role of a tutor, offering guidance and pastoral support to students.
Uphold the school’s policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and student welfare.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3.
Has a strong subject knowledge and the ability to make Maths accessible and engaging.
Demonstrates confidence, resilience, and a good sense of humour.
Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
Is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
