Job summary Target employment start date August 2025. This job is 2 days a week in Medical SDEC and 1 day on the Acute Medical Unit. There is an expectation for 1 day a week of evening working on a Thursday. There is no on call commitment, if the post holder requires registrar on call experience this can be discussed at interview and may be able to be accommodated. There are 58 beds across the AMU, including 12 telemetry beds and 8 ECU beds delivering ECU-level care with continuous cardiac monitoring, high flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation. The Acute Medical Team also run the medical SDEC service, this is open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 10am-6pm on weekends. Approximately 30 patients a day are managed through SDEC.
